Daytime Competition
16 dogs will be invited to compete in each Contest which will be judged on a Match format by three judges who will remain undisclosed until the day. The 'best of three votes' will go through to the next round until a Winner and Runner-Up can be declared in each Section. The ultimate title 'Poodle of the Year' will be selected from the Winning dogs from each of the three variety Contests.

The Venue
The Royal Court Hotel is situated just north of Coventry, 15 minutes drive from Birmingham NEC with fast and easy connections to the M6, M1, M69, M42 and M40. Use SatNav Potcode CV7 9JG.
The Hotel is a beautiful 19th century Manor House, situated in 11 acres of landscaped gardens, parkland and ample parking, it has a Health and Leisure Club which includes a heated indoor swimming pool, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and Hair & Beauty Salon. All facilities are available to hotel guests, ask at reception about resident membership upon arrival if you would like to make use of these facilities during your stay.
All rooms have en suite facilities, a TV and trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities and many rooms have garden or parkland views. Check-in for rooms is from 2 pm but earlier times MAY be available subject to availability if you request them.
We have negotiated Reduced 2018 rates for Bed and Breakfast:
Double occupancy £60, Single £50, £10 supplement for dogs in rooms

Admission:
Those purchasing tickets for the evening Dinner/Dance will be admitted free of charge to the daytime contest. A further form will be sent to those booking evening tickets to obtain programmes and extra admission tickets for the daytime.For those not pre-booking or attending the evening, admission on the day will be £5 Competitors may have ONE guest to accompany them to the daytime competition without charge. .
Refreshments:
Tea and Coffee will be available from 10.00 am
Light lunches (soups and sandwiches etc.) will be available from 12 noon - 2.30 pm
Bar available in the Britannia Suite from 12 - 4 pm
Evening Dinner .
Tickets are £25 per head (Unchanged price from 2017)- This will include a 3 course Carvery meal with a choice of two other options on the other coursesDress Code is Gentlemen: Black Tie
Ladies in Evening Gowns/Cocktail Dress.
We have a highly recommended DJ for Dancing and hope we can rely on you all to be up there having a ball well into the early hours.
For those who may like a somewhat quieter area to chat, there is a comfortable Lounge bar area outside the main Suite which we hope will mean everyone will be happy.
